Biography:

Valerie Wisot focuses her law practice in the areas of real estate transactions, escrow, title insurance, commercial and business law. She received her Bachelors Degree from the University of California at Berkley in 1968 and in 1983, graduated cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles, University of West Los Angeles, receiving her Juris Doctor Degree. In the same year, she was admitted to the California Bar.

Ms. Wisot belongs to numerous professional associations which include membership in the Real Property Section and Business Law Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association; and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where she served not only as a Member in the Real Property Section and Business Law Section, but also on the Executive Board of the Real Property Section since 2005. From 1988 to 1991, she was a member of the Real Property Section Standing Committee for the Residential Task Force, Business Law Section, Title Insurance Section, and served as Committee Chair for the Community Association Committee of the American Bar Association. Other association memberships include the State Bar of California, the Business Property Council, the Association of Real Estate Attorneys, the Community Associations Institute and the American Land Title Association.

Ms. Wisot is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. She has made numerous appearances throughout her career as a lecturer, which includes speaking as Guest Lecturer on "Significant Changes in 1987 ALTA Owners Policy" at the ABA General Meeting in 1988. She was Guest Lecturer speaking to the faculty at the ABA National Institute in 1990 on "Attorneys' Role in Title Insurance".
